Takes a little time to learn, but once you have it figured out, it's so easy you could do it in your sleep.

The new way I've been doing it is instead of starting with a race jibe, I just go downwind a little and pull the wing over my head. Its a really fun way to initiate a tack or jibe as well.

Alright, alright... at the least you've got me motivated to work on race-jibes. Seen guys backwind to race jibe into waves- pretty stylish effective.

Awesome! I use the race jibe to exit the wave often because the wind is usually light right in close to shore at our spots. The only downside is you can't see the white water when turning the wing down!
I love a stylish transition onto the wave. I've been working on the behind the back tack onto the wave without repowering (hard to time it), The Heineken on the wave is nice, and what I really want to get is the 540 jump from toeside off the lip back onto the wave!
Make sure you post some video once you get the race jibe! It's not too hard once you try it a couple of times. Just turn the nose down and let you pull you around. Don't even worry about riding out the first few times.
