Sharing Your Foiling Footage / Embedding videos & pics

Post by Wingman »

I hope you guys will share footage of yourselves to show off or ask for tips. The forum will handle a lot of media files just by copying the link and pasting it into the body of the text box. Always use "Preview" to double check before submitting the post. If you have a Youtube channel, that footage will play automatically. If you don't have a Youtube, the best option is to use Google Drive. It will also play directly in the forum if you share the link and change the settings to "Anyone with the link" can view. If you need a Google Drive just sign up for a Gmail account or get a new one if you need more space.

You can share an Instagram link in a post, but it may only be viewable by people that have an Instagram or Facebook account. It won't play in your post. It will play on their website.

To share images from the web you can just post the link (or use the little image icon above the text box and put the link inside the generated code), or you can add an attachment to your post from your own computer and then click "Place Inline" for it to show up in the post. Right now there are some limits on attachments (max 10 MB, photos only, limited number). I may change that at some point or make it more restrictive depending on usage and bandwidth. You can always use Google Drive to share photos as well.

Foiling is my life.
