Wing foiling in the rain?
It’s raining this weekend in Los Angeles. Is anyone still planning to wing? The prediction is showing decent wind Sunday morning but in the opposite direction and with rain.

Looking closer it appears there is no predicted rain. Still- anyone planning to go?

I'm trying to figure that out right now. I have work at 1 PM and then would love to get in the water if we can find useable wind.

Re: Wing foiling in the rain?
Ugh. I don't know. I have had bad luck with these kind of conditions. Last couple of times I tried at Leo (one was that really big swell day), I was only able to get up a few times on my 6 meter and small board. If I had a bigger board or 7m though it would have been a good session. We'll see. Right now the rain is still making me not want to leave the warmth of my apartment.
(PS. I moved your post here to show you were the Locals Only section is and test that feature. Hope you don't mind!)

Yes, I’ve had bad luck whenever the prediction says a reverse direction. I’ll play it by ear tomorrow.

Also a heads up. Topanga is still closed and Malibu Canyon is closed this weekend. *sigh*

Ooof. Ventura looks like it MIGHT have a chance around 2. I don’t know. I’m ready for summer.

Me and Mike foiled Hollywood Beach in the rain Saturday it was a good day. I’m a longtime kiter but a new wing foiler. I’m hooked to say the least. Glad Rob started this website. ☮️
