Re: Best Camera Setup

I set mine up the same way as Wingman but I use a gopro 360. Like Rob said it adds extra time editing in terms of follow cam and filming other people its a little nicer cause you dont need to be precise. Just get as close as you can and keep the wing out of the way and you can find them during the e...

Re: Memorial Weekend Trip

Ended up going to Sherman and it was really fun. Wind was a bit on the light side but ridding there on the Ebb is a blast. Saw Ken Adgate out riding and it was like being inside a youtube video. Finally figured out jibes and footswitches on the big board and tacks are getting close so all in all a g...

Memorial Weekend Trip

Going to do some camping this weekend and am planning on winging too. Thinking about either going to Isabella or up to Sherman Island. Anyone have any thoughts? Wind looks like it might be better at Isabella but Ive never been to either.

Re: Lake Lopez

@Wingman Thats a cool idea. Would be really helpful especially for the lakes cause they can be kinda tricky.

Re: Lake Lopez

Yeah exactly. Whenever Im riding in the ocean I get too distracted by swell and waves. The campground was pretty nice, I think one of them had a playground and there's a water park, ropes course, and zip line next to a little beach. It wasn't open yet but in mid summer I bet its really fun for kids.

Lake Lopez

Did my first trip to Lake Lopez this past weekend and absolutely scored! We had three days in a row of really good wind and rode for around 3 hours per day. As someone who typically rides in the ocean it was a really nice chance to practice tacks and some other wing tricks. As is almost always the c...

Re: Where are you all winging tomorrow, May 5?

Went out at Cabrillo yesterday and it was epic! Huge swell and pretty good wind until about 4 then it was too much and chopped everything up. It was breaking out at the buoy, swell probably 3-4ft on the outside. Super fun!

Duotone Slick 4.5 $300

2021 duotone slick. Comes with boom and extra bladder. This wing has seen use but is still in great shape for someone wanting to learn.

Re: Light Wind Winging

Had one more thought @RichieFoiling. Is your foil in the right place? Seems like on a downwind board lots of potential for foil to be in the wrong spot and mess up the balance for turning. Yeah I think its in the right spot. I'm on the uni hyper2 210 and for me most of my uni foils I need to put re...
